The Band was formed to bring the live sound of Santana closer to you. Carlos Humberto Santana Barragan is a Mexican and American Guitarist who rose to fame in the late 1960's and early 1970's with his band Santana, which pioneered a fusion of rock and Latin American Jazz. Some of his big hits were Black Magic Woman and Oye Como Va. His Supernatural album in the 1990's brought such hits as Smooth and Maria Maria.
We are seasoned musicians that love to perform led by our passion for music. The vision for this band founded by Percussionist, Richard, "Dr. Ricky", Rodriguez, was simple, find the best musicians possible that share the passion for Santana's Music and play the heck out of it!
"Playing such venues as PNC Art Center and MTV to mention a few with the band, "The Nerds", over the past two decades has connected me to many quality musicians throughout the years", Rick said, "this has given me the opportunity to pick the best when forming our Santana Tribute." We have performed at private parties and corporate events and the response has been awesome. If you like music and moving your feet, join us!
